Fund the Midwest Passenger Rail Coalition
To: Sen. Patton, Rep. Dovilla
From: A verified voter in Strongsville, OH
April 2
I more than appreciate your efforts to fix the budget for our great Buckeye State, but I think you’re doing a great disservice to us by not funding the Midwest Passenger Rail Coalition. This system could vastly improve the connectedness between great Midwest and rust belt cities, and would do wonders for the economy and tourism for all involved.
Visiting the east coast and having access to passenger rail is a game changer, and it really makes visiting neighboring cities so much easier and safer. The highways can only have so many lanes.
Take it from me, a guy who loves driving cars and riding motorcycles. I know how much we love our freedom that comes with driving. But passenger rail will allow us to keep up with the states around us, and the economic impact it will have by increasing tourism and consumer spending is more than worth it.
Please ensure you include the Midwest Passenger Rail Coalition in Ohio’s Budget. Thank you and God Bless You.
