We on the ground are tired of the barrage of bad news and illegal activity stemming from the executive branch. The hypocrisy is an insult to our judicial system. The silence is just as bad. Your constituents in Nevada deserve more. We need more protest and disruptive energy from you like what Senators Booker, Sanders, Walz, Ocacio-Cortez, Murphy, Rep Al Green, Rep Jasmine Crockett, and Rep Robert Garcia. To put it bluntly, you guys aren’t making enough noise. Not protesting enough. Not withholding enough. This isn’t a time to “meet in the middle”. It isn’t “business as usual”. Your constituents well being, health, wallets, safety, jobs, and liberties are all on the line and we need to see and feel that YOU all know and understand this. This is not a drill. This is not a dress rehearsal. Make more noise. Dissent. What are you going to DO to show your constituents that you are on OUR side and that what is unfolding before our eyes is unlawful and immoral. I didn’t see any of your signatures on the letter signed by members of congress to protest the detention and arrest of students by men in street clothes in unarmed vehicles. This was very disappointing. Our faith in our reps here in Nevada is shaky. We need you to do and say more than the sanitized statements. It’s too late for those. Read the room. We are in crisis daily.
