Please vote no on any budget bill that makes cuts to the social safety net, especially to SNAP benefits.  Recipients receive benefits of $6 per day.  Given the state of grocery prices this doesn't go far.  Kids need food to learn and adults need food to be productive workers. Before you think about cutting benefits, I encourage you to take the Food Stamp Challenge and experience how difficult feeding a family on SNAP truly is.
