I am writing as a constituent to demand an answer: Will you stand with Donald Trump’s extreme plan to dismantle the De partment of Education, or will you fight to protect our public schools? Trump’s executive order will devastate education in every communi ty. It will cut funding for public schools, eliminate federal student aid programs like Pell Grants, and gut special education services that millions of families rely on. The vast majority of Americans - Republicans and Democrats alike - oppose this radical attack on public education. Our students and teachers need leaders who will fight for them, not politicians who stand by while Trump destroys our schools. This is a yes-or-no question: Will you support the Dept. of Ed. Protection Act (H.R. 433) introduced by Congresswoman Hayes? I expect a clear answer.
