I am concerned about the erasure of DEI. This country prides itself on the principles of freedom. This country has always stood as a beacon of hope to those seeking a better life. This country has always been made up of diverse peoole from all corners of the world, and in honoring those core values which define who we are as Americans, we must listen to the voices of minority groups when they experience injustice. We must continue taking actions to include all persons in freedom, and to recognize and rectify any mistakes we have made in the past. The erasure of DEI initiatives is abhorrent. I want my brown friends, my LGBTQ+ friends, my fellow women friends, my friends with disabilities, and anybody else who lives in this country, to have their input heard. I want them to have their rights protected. I want them to feel welcomed and inclued for being the valuable members of society that they are. The current administration is sending us back 50 years or more with its current push to abolish the diversity that makes us great. Please fight to support DEI.
