Our national forests are public lands held in trust for the benefit of all Americans, not resources to be exploited for corporate profits. Allowing unregulated logging without proper environmental review would devastate these precious ecosystems that provide clean air, clean water, wildlife habitat, and outdoor recreation for millions. Circumventing laws like the Endangered Species Act and the National Environmental Policy Act disregards our duty to be responsible stewards of these lands for future generations. I urge you to reject this reckless executive order and uphold environmental protections for our national forests. Sustainable forest management guided by science, not greed, is crucial for mitigating wildfires, protecting biodiversity, and combating climate change. Our public lands deserve to be preserved, not pillaged.
