First and foremost, executive orders do not override Congress. If you are going to behave like they do & refuse to stand against the flood of destructive orders, then maybe you should rescind your positions, as the president has made you obsolete. Second, please tell Mr. Trump to keep his (and Elon’s) hands off of the Smithsonian complex. Not only does the Smithsonian Institution give a multifaceted view of our multifaceted history, it also shines light on our place in the world history. To do anything to cripple it would be felt for generations. Something needs to give in this current administration; America has never been a homogenous country. It would not be great if it was. (And unlike the catch phrase of this administration, has been great for a very long time.) Think about what your constituents are saying to you.
