vote against the House-passed stopgap spending measure

To: Rep. Hamadeh, Sen. Gallego, Sen. Kelly

From: A verified voter in Phoenix, AZ

March 12

I urge you to vote against cloture on the stopgap spending bill. This legislation would merely kick the can down the road, prolonging inaction on crucial issues like the child tax credit expansion that lifted millions of children out of poverty. Temporary funding patches are counterproductive to enacting the Build Back Better agenda of transformative investments in areas like climate change, healthcare, childcare, and education that Americans urgently need. Stand firm in opposition to this stopgap measure and demand that Congress address these priorities substantively rather than delaying them further.
