The Trump administration's plan to rescind requirements for federal contractors to prohibit discrimination and provide fair pay data threatens hard-won civil rights protections. Allowing companies that do business with the government to discriminate based on race, gender, disability status and more is a damaging step backwards. We must uphold the values of equality and opportunity that make America strong. This misguided policy enables systemic injustice and cannot be allowed to move forward. I urge you to take immediate action to block this attack on civil rights and stand up for marginalized communities.
