Leave Canada alone and drop these usurious tariffs that harm both countries. No to annexation, no to worsening relations with our friends up north. The talk of massive dairy taxes isn’t even accurate - no one has ever had to pay them because they only apply over a certain ludicrously high number of imports which has never been reached; below that limit the tariff is ZERO which is the same as what’s been paid! None! The dairy tariff is a distraction and never actually gets put into action so it’s not worth it to use as an excuse for these punishingly high fees that will limit trade between neighbors. Similarly, the mount of fentanyl coming across the Canadian border is vanishingly low compared to other means of entry and not worth trashing an alliance over. Do not threaten our dear friends. We need to restore our harmonious relationship ASAP for the betterment of everyone and for the good of the economy.
