You have to start acting as if there are terrorists in the White House because there ARE terrorists in the White House. We are dealing with domestic terrorists and we cannot continue moving as if we’re dealing with normal Republicans. I have seen your statements online and on TV opposing what the administration is doing. That’s the minimum we’re asking of Congress We’re asking YOU to stop the lip service and start making MOVES. Deeds not words! When they go low, we HAVE to go even lower. This is not the time for decorum. This is the time to roll up your sleeves and fight dirty. Your constituents are doing all they can with what they have. But we elected you to fight for us on the front lines. Stop telling us what they’re doing is wrong and do something about it. WORK with your fellow congresspeople from coast to coast. Unfortunately, our court systems were not set up to make haste. But Congress MUST do the two following: Make moves to write up articles of impeachment. Congress has the power to overturn an executive order by passing legislation that invalidates it, and can also refuse to provide funding necessary to carry out certain policy measures contained with the order or legitimize policy mechanisms. Congress MUST work to reverse these dangerous executive orders immediately. The Federalists Papers written by James Madison and Alexander Hamilton explain that “ambition must be made to counteract ambition. It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government.” We are in a constitutional crisis. This is a 5-alarm fire. This is a red alert. There are terrorists in the White House. We need your deeds. Not your words.
