Governor Gavin Newsom has embarrassed himself and those of us who voted for him. What is he doing going on Charlie Kirk in the first place, much less throwing trans athletes under the bus? Is there not enough for him to do in Sacramento? Could he not be working on our housing insurance crisis, for example, or dealing with sorry state of public education in this state? Apparently not - he’s letting himself get dragged into hysterical conversations about literally trumped-up non issue of trans athletes in sports by a right-wing podcaster, of all things. I’m honestly disgusted. The queer community isn’t so enamored with his San Francisco gay and lesbian marriages more than a decade ago that they are going to sit still for this. And as a California homeowner and Democratic voter, I’m appalled.
