The abduction of Tufts University PhD student Rumeysa Ozturk Tuesday night by plainclothes government agents is unacceptable. We cannot have people kidnapped off the streets by random men in unmarked cars. We cannot have people deported for no apparent reason, especially to be kept in the jail of a dictator. This is a real crisis. We must do everything possible to preserve human, civil, and legal rights.
