Are you really going to sit quietly while trump threatens Greenland with annexation? He told NBC today that military action is not off the table. This is a violation of everything the U.S. has stood for since World War II. Furthermore, it's completely unnecessary, assuming it's actually about U.S. national security. The U.S. has shut down various bases there (leaving Denmark and Greenland to clean up the toxic waste for us), and we could reopen them or build new bases there simply by asking permission of our (former?) NATO ally, Denmark. I think you know this. So what's this actually about, if not national security? It seems to me that it's actually about greed. Greenland is rich in minerals that trump's billionaire masters would like to mine. They are pushing for the United States to illegally invade another nation for another billion that they can never even spend. If the US actually invades Greenland, and Denmark invokes article 5, we will literally be at war with with democratic Europe, Britain, and Canada, among others. I'm an American - a veteran - but I will fight with NATO in order to stop the US. I will do so because invading a sovereign nation's territory is moral. What this administration is proposing is reckless, ignorant, dangerous, immoral, and illegal. I can't believe that you are silent. It's disgusting. Speak up before it's too late...
