OPPOSITION To SB25-076

To: Sen. Hinrichsen, Rep. Martinez

From: A constituent in Pueblo, CO

March 5

Dear representative, I am contacting you, as your constituent in Pueblo County, about the SB25-076: Intoxicating Substances and Social Equity Business. I am opposed to SB25-076 due to economic and morale issues. Colorado used tax income for Marijuana sales for a variety of necessary and needed programs. To impose these regulations means a severe decrease in legal sales and helpful community services as a by-product. During a time that is feeling very unstable for our communities, passing this bill means a negative economic impact and decrease in morale. Not only do I oppose this bill, but am disappointed by the desire to push it through at this time. The focus for Colorado, right now, should be on stabilizing our communities, not regulating their use of marijuana. Please vote NO on SB25-076.
