I am writing due to my profound fear that Chuck Schumer, the DNC and Democrats as a whole are acting as if what’s happening now is in any way normal and that it doesn’t pose a VERY real and largely unchecked threat to all Americans and their basic freedoms. This is NOT normal and since Trump has ignored the courts, we ARE in a dictatorship. But your party is not meeting this threat with the boldness and unified front it demands. Your party is divided and acting as though the usually political climate should be their guide. They are not demonstrating an awareness our our PROFOUNDLY dangerous situation. They’re not acting like a Fascist takeover is happening before them. But IT IS. You must continue to push for bolder and bolder actions to combat the newly established regime and their fascist moves. Every tool you possess must be used and used with conviction. We cannot rely on Politics As Usual and we MUST NOT CONCEDE to their whims and play along. Trump is breaking laws. So hold his feet to the fire. Schumer’s era no longer exists, the Fascists have changed the game. Fight like you know that. Fight these Fascists. If you don’t, America ends. Save us from this dictatorship.
