Congress must act immediately to stop President Trump’s unconstitutional attempt to dismantle the Department of Education through executive order. This blatant overreach undermines the separation of powers—only Congress has the authority to eliminate federal agencies. I urge you to: Publicly denounce this executive overreach. Pass legislation to protect the Department of Education. Hold hearings to ensure transparency and accountability. Our democracy relies on a government that respects the rule of law. Every student—regardless of background—deserves access to a quality education. Don’t let essential services for America’s students be stripped away in the name of power and ideology. Please, protect the Department of Education and our children’s future.
