Do not vote for any funding bill that fails to stop Trump’s illegal power seizures! Donald Trump and unelected billionaire Elon Musk are unlawfully dismantling our federal government’s ability to serve us. As you well know they are: • Firing and purging civil servants and agency leaders to cripple our government. • Seizing control of Treasury payment systems that send Social Security benefits and pay government bills—while threatening to shut them down. • Engaging in illegal impoundment, stripping funds from programs in direct violation of Congressional appropriations laws. These actions are not just reckless—they are illegal. They defy the Constitution, override Congressional authority, and divert public funds to serve the desire of Republicans to destroy our country. You must not enable this lawlessness. Vote against any long-term government funding bill until the GOP stands up for our Constitution and the rule of law. A short, clean continuing resolution is acceptable if necessary. Anything beyond that legitimizes corruption and government by executive fiat.
