This is NOT the time for banning semi-automatic weapons. Your constituents demand the right to defend themselves against a tyrannical government! As Marx states: “Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated.” Since you all won’t stand up for us, at very least don’t undermine our ability to stand up for ourselves.
