I’m writing to express my strong support for the BRIDGE act recently proposed by Senator Jessica Ramos and Assemblymember Micah Lasher. I hope I can count on your support for this bill as it moves through the process to eventually be signed by the governor. Trump and Musk have shown repeatedly that they intend to withhold and outright steal back money from states as a way to force their bigoted unconstitutional agenda in blue states. This legislation provides a critical tool to mitigate the damages from their unlawful acts. Please support any efforts which ensure New York maintains independence from the maga agenda and can continue to fight for the civil rights and equality of New Yorkers.
