At what point does corporate greed finally get put in check? When will Congress stop handing over the world’s most critical infrastructure to monopolies with zero accountability? Because right now, BlackRock—a financial giant with over $9 trillion in assets—just bought up the Panama Canal’s ports.
Yes, indeed, a private, profit-driven mega-corporation now controls one of the most important shipping routes in the world.
This isn’t just about business—it’s about power.
Who decides how global trade flows now? BlackRock.
Who sets the prices, the tolls, and the policies? BlackRock.
Who gets to dictate global supply chains? Not elected governments—BlackRock.
This is what happens when Congress refuses to regulate monopolies. We have watched these financial behemoths buy up housing, farmlands, entire industries—and now they’re grabbing strategic global infrastructure, too. At what point do we say “enough” before we have no control left?
If a foreign government had taken over the Panama Canal, there would be immediate action. So why is it okay when a faceless corporation does it? This level of unchecked corporate control is a direct threat to economic stability, supply chain security, and national sovereignty.
I demand that you act immediately to stop this corporate power grab.
1) Pass legislation to block monopolies like BlackRock from controlling global infrastructure.
2) Launch an investigation into how a single corporation was allowed to buy up one of the world’s most critical trade hubs.
Strengthen antitrust laws to break up these financial giants before they control everything.
3) This is corporate colonialism, plain and simple. Congress has ignored this crisis for too long. You need to act before private billionaires own more of the world than actual governments do.
I—and millions of others—will be watching to see if you stand up to this unchecked greed or let it continue. Make the right choice for once.
