Thank you for opposing the Republican continuing resolution just passed by Republicans and Leader Schumer in the Senate. Please - if you truly believe our Democracy is at stake because of Trump and Musk, make good on your strong criticism of this dangerous Trump/Musk poison pill and publicly call for new leadership in the Senate. Chuck Schumer has done more to divide the Democratic Party this week than anyone before, including Republicans, and Whip Durbin is complicit in leading more than enough colleagues to cede cloture power. AFGE, seven state Attorneys General, Speaker Emerita Pelosi, and nearly all your colleagues joined you in very publicly and emphatically opposing this CR - that has to mean something, and the response to its passage has to reflect this urgency: Schumer and Durbin have got to go.
