Whatever happened to the American motto we once took pride in: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free”? Now, Trump is planning to revoke temporary legal status for 240,000 Ukrainians who fled Russia’s brutal invasion. This cruel deportation plan betrays our values and abandons people who sought refuge on our shores. Stand up for what’s right. Show the American people that you still believe in the ideals that made this country a beacon of hope. Stop doing the bidding of a murderous dictator. Do your job. Your constituents do not support this—and you know it. Don’t sacrifice your integrity. Don’t violate your oath to the Constitution just to cling to power. History is watching.
