I, a rural, hardworking, tax paying American, fully support my tax dollars going to fund CPB and NPR. I work paycheck to paycheck and wish I could afford to support my local stations, if the comparatively small amount that the federal government takes in taxes will keep CPB and NPR on the air I am perfectly happy with that. If the federal deficit is genuinely that much of a concern might I suggest the President stay in Washington DC instead of flying to Florida every weekend. You could claw back all the funds lost on the fraudulent PPP loan forgiveness. Close the loopholes in the tax code that billionaires and corporations take advantage of to pay no federal tax- or even better, raise taxes ON THE RICH.
