I wrote to inquire HOW DOGE was established and received this response from you on 31 March 2025 "On his first day in office, President Trump created the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) by executive order." As you know, the President does NOT have this authority. So my question is the same - HOW and under what authority was this Department created? Please refer to the constitution and applicable laws or ask a staffer to research so the next reply is accurate.
