Stand behind Representative Al Green! It took Rep Green true courage to stand up to the President’s lies and naked attempt to strip Medicaid. Stand behind him with full support as the Republicans move to censure him. We need to get loud and disruptive. We need to stand strong and tough for what we know to be right. Now is not the time to “play dead” as James Carville wrongheadedly advises. What Al Green did was both righteous and just! I expect the Republicans to condemn him, and hypocritically so, as members of their own party have been equally disruptive to both Biden and Obama. And that is their right to do so. We must defend Al Green’s right, and make sure other members of congress know that Democrat will have the backs of anyone who stands up against Trump and his unelected billionaire co-president.
