Hegseth and Waltz MUST Resign! Protect Our National Security… SignalGate may be only the tip of the iceberg…. This time, Waltz and Hegseth were caught out by the carelessness of Waltz in adding Bloomberg to the Signal chat, but how many chats have already occurred that were sensitive or classified that we don’t know about? When they created this chat there was no conversation about it being unusual. That would indicate it was a common means of communication. It is true that the operation came off smoothly, but that is not the main concern here. The main concern is that the information was at the very least highly sensitive and should have been classified and this was a careless, dangerous and totally amateur way to communicate about these military strikes. We don’t really know if our enemies have been able to tap into this Signal chat or others that may have occurred. It’s a dangerous world out there and saying it was a “ glitch” and won’t happen again is not enough. At the very least, an independent investigation must be conducted and those guilty of this highly dangerous mistake as far as National Security is concerned, must either resign or be fired. Do your jobs and defend our National Security to the utmost. Please respond in writing what you intend to do about SignalGate.
