I’m writing today for your support on Senate Bill 916, a vital piece of legislation designed to help workers on strike keep the lights on, pay rent, and buy things like food and temporary health coverage during a strike. Sb 916 is common sense policy designed to simply help working people make ends meet during a strike. This policy has a very low impact on the UI trust, it’s what workers need to ensure they can continue to fight for fair contracts.
