I am asking you to oppose two parts of the proposed Fiscal Year 2025 budget. First, I oppose the extreme cuts to Medicaid and other essential services that would raise costs of health care, food, and college, deprive millions of Americans of health coverage, and endanger people experiencing homelessness. Secondly, I do not support the hundreds of billions of dollars allotted to militarized immigration enforcement, increased deportations, and mass incarceration of families and individuals. I’m calling on you to vote NO to funding dangerous immigration practices and cutting to safety-net programs.
