Please pass a continuing resolution, prevent a government shutdown which may linger beyond 30 days and trigger a RIF. My spouse and I are both Federal Employees. Our finances are stretched thin. If the government shuts down our entire household income is cut off. We will not be able to pay our mortgage or other bills. Financial constraints have eliminated our safety net from our savings. We will have to sell our home, my son will lose his placement at daycare. I will lose our family's health insurance benefits and will be unable to pay for prescriptions for myself, my husband and our children...our daughter has epilepsy and takes 4 medications every day. I lose my job due to a protracted shutdown, we will lose everything we have worked hard to provide for our family. Please keep the government open and find another way to shutter DOGE, oust Musk and, rein in Trump. Isn't it high time you pursue articles of impeachment and our enact the amendment from our Constitution to declare him mentally unfit to serve instead. This constant attack and using the Federal Service as pawns to control the President and executive branch employees must end. A shutdown will spell disaster for all who voted to support it at the midterms. I will vote against anyone who supports a shutdown. Period.
