Please be aware how disappointed your constituents are about your vote to censure Rep Al Green following his justified behavior at the SOTU on Tuesday night. This is no time for business as usual or maintaining the decorum of the status quo. Donald Trump is taking extreme measures to dismantle our democracy, and few in Congress are standing up to him. You’ve been one of the most vocal representatives against him thus far during this administration, and your vote to censure Al Green came as a surprising disappointment. Please do all you can to fight for our democracy, including supporting those who get into “good trouble”. Thank you for your time.
