Judges must be able to rule based on the law, free from political or personal intimidation. Regardless of party, all Americans benefit when our courts operate without fear of retaliation. I urge you to publicly affirm the importance of judicial independence and support measures to ensure that judges and their families are protected from harassment or threats. If there are legislative steps that can reinforce these protections, I hope you will consider championing them.
