Thank you for responding and for assuring constituents that you will listen to all of us. However, many of us, myself included, do not feel truly heard. Corruption has always been a concern in politics; few would argue otherwise. But what is especially troubling now is how blatant it appears to be. Some actions, particularly within the Republican Party, seem to signal submission to or even encouragement of corruption. Many people are deeply concerned about the so-called "loyalty tests," financial contributions to certain members of Congress, and decisions that appear to prioritize political interests over the well-being of the people. These actions give the impression that bribery and backroom deals are influencing policies that could dismantle essential services and disregard both the opposition and the public. One particular concern is the involvement of Elon Musk and his staff in auditing sensitive government matters. Many of us do not trust them in such a role, especially given past leaks of sensitive information by one of his staffers. If audits are necessary, they should be conducted by vetted, independent professionals to ensure transparency and public trust. Beyond these immediate concerns, I wonder if there are more effective ways for Americans to have a say in how our tax dollars are allocated. Could we implement a system where taxpayers provide input on their funding priorities? While I recognize the complexity of such an approach, it could be a step toward ensuring that government spending reflects the values and needs of the people. Right now, many Americans feel uncertain, insecure, and even threatened by what is happening in government. If these concerns are not addressed, we risk further division and instability—an outcome that benefits no one. Regardless of political affiliation, when so many people feel this level of distress, it is critical that their concerns be acknowledged and addressed. The goal is not just to raise alarms but to find ways to unite and work toward the greater good of our country. I hope you will take these concerns seriously and work toward solutions that restore public confidence in our government.
