I understand that Donald Trump promised to deport thousands of people and that he’s frustrated this hasn’t happened. Insisting that field offices arrest 75 people a day is NOT a good solution. It will only trample on human rights, due process and cause a lot of harm. America needs to adhere to its principles and laws even if the current president wishes it otherwise. Congress needs to step up to ensure ALL laws are followed to the letter to ensure that our country can remain a democracy.
