Stop the unlawful deportations and detentions without due process

I am writing to express my deep distress about the unlawful deportations of Venezuelans to a concentration camp in El Salvador, as well as the detention of scholars for political opinions. As a scholar of German history, it is obvious to me where this is going, and I do not see the Democratic Party showing the necessary moral backbone. I understand that immigration is not a “winning” issue for the party. I. Don’t. Care. Some things are JUST WRONG. I am begging you, for the love of God, stand up before it is too late. We are going to a very dark place where they could do this to anyone — ANYONE. It is happening here, and I’m becoming rapidly disillusioned by how little is being done to stop it. Please, please, please do something before it is too late.
