I’m writing again to express concern with and opposition to the actions of the current administration. (1) either they are completely inept or they are using these tariff announcements to manipulate the stock market so that their friends can make money shorting it. Someone should investigate this possibility but you’ve already allowed them to dismantle the entities that would do such a thing. (2) The list of buildings to be sold makes clear in no uncertain terms that they intent to dismantle the US government (and the US along with it) and sell it for parts to make their friends rich. (3) They’ve now set their sights on the Veterans administration and the post office. These institutions are fundamental to the functioning of our country and must be protected at all cost. They are attacking the post office because they do not intent to lose another election ever again. (4) Elon Musk is not an elected official nor is he an appointed official. If he were anyone else with any other administration he would be in jail right now for his actions. DOGE isn’t legitimate and neither is he. They must be treated as such and must be stopped. (5) The NSF is being forced to terminate most of its research experiences for undergrads programs and there is a rumor they will not be awarding any graduate fellowships this year. Our undergraduate and graduate students are the future of this country’s economy and must be supported if we have any desire for future prosperity. (6) Impeach Trump now
