I have called your offices for several weeks asking about your position on changes to social security, which, you may remember, the elected president promised would never happen. Now, the unelected president, who has no understanding or appreciation of (or need for) social security, has declared it rife with fraud and a Ponzi scheme. You do realize how important social security is to your constituents, do you not? Why are you not taking a position in favor of your constituents and speaking up? And don’t tell me about the national debt, which is the responsibility of Bush for two unfunded wars and Trump for a massive tax cut during his first term (and more to come). In any case, those of us receiving social security—and who depend on it—should not be punished for deficit-creating spending. You are MY voice in the government. I expect you to use it and stand up to Presidents Trump and Musk, or there will be a price at the ballot box for at least two of you next year.
