Do not vote to dissolve the TSA

To: Sen. Moody, Sen. Scott, Rep. Rutherford

From: A constituent in Saint Augustine, FL

March 29

Do Not vote yes on this bill to dissolve the TSA. Not only are you taking away jobs but you’re going to put us in harms way. It’s a national security risk. This is reckless and could potentially open us up to inside and outside threats. Privatizing TSA wouldn’t help either because then it’s regular Americans being nickel and dimed. Stop hurting Americans with stupid ideas. I doubt it’s bloated because most contracts still have to be fair and reasonable within the confines of their contracts. If you’re going to reorganize it, do it within the lines of the contract, so that we can still keep Americans safe. “Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) today introduced the Abolish the TSA Act, which would dissolve the bloated and ineffective Transportation Security Administration while allowing America’s airports to compete to provide the safest, most efficient, and least intrusive security measures, under a new Office of Aviation Security Oversight.”
