Senator Collins, I am not disappointed in you, not surprised, but I am appalled and shocked. Are you on the receiving end of a shakedown???? Voting for christofascist Vought who is snatching all power from the committee you've longed to head and crowed about for years? Professing not the know the source of the authority to illegally strangle federal funding when you ought to know it's unconstitutional? Claiming that you vote on nominees according to whether they're credentialed when you voted against 85 highly credentialed Biden nominees and voted for Trump judicial nominees deemed unqualified by the ABA? As approps chair you could subpoena Vought and Musk. Why have you not done so? Why are you allowing "your" committee to be castrated in full public view, and the power of Congress to be nullified in a blatantly criminal and unconstitutional attack on the separation of powers and the congressional power of the purse? And now, along party lines again you declare that you will vote for a predatory conspiracy theorist anti-vaxxer who is egregiously unqualified and unfit for any role in public health? Have you forgotten your op-ed of August 2016 against Trump??? How has he improved to earn your craven toadying and compliance? Have you forgotten that you swore an oath to the constitution??
