History is watching you. Will you exercise your duty to advise and consent in order to protect our lives and institutions? Say no to recess appointments: you swore an oath to the constitution; you need to uphold the role of the senate and the division of powers. I ask you to remember that history is watching you; a senate that condones the appointment of a vaccine denier to the NIH will have to answer for the death and disabilities that result.
