An open letter to the U.S. Senate (Maine only)

Defend Congress's legal powers! NO to Vought, Gabbard, Bondi, RFK jr. Stop Musk.

10 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Senator, stop being a partisan push-over and honor your oath. Don't advance dangerous and unqualified nominees. Did you not learn a lesson from what Bessent did? Giving illegal access to treasury computers to Elon Musk? Did you not learn a lesson about Trump's willingness to advance depravity from the Matt Gaetz saga? No? Learn those lessons now. Our democracy is at stake. I am outraged that as chair of the appropriations committee you have failed to speak out against the illegality of Musk's intrusion and Trump and Musk's destruction of congress's constitutional power. What part of your oath do you not understand? Is it support, defend, or the constitution itself? Do NOT advance or approve nominees who are unqualified or will wreck and destroy their agencies. do NOT approve nominees who endanger our national security or lives and safety. That means NO to Vought, NO to Gabbard, NO to Patel, NO to RFK jr, NO to Bondi. Speak out now about the illegality of potus and unelected musk impounding congressional approved payments. Please reply in writing
