Stop the betrayals! Support Ukraine. No cuts to Medicare or Medicaid

Yesterday was a day of infamy. The U.S. sided with Russia (and Belarus and North Korea) in U.N. Resolutions marking the 3rd anniversary of Russia’s hostile invasion of Ukraine. We have betrayed our allies, betrayed NATO, abandoned Ukraine, and the foreign policy of Trump and Vance and Rubio embraces former foes and Nazis. Please put forward and pass House and Senate resolutions to declare our support for Ukraine. Please publicly speak against Trump's lies about Ukraine. As a member of Congress, you have a voice and platform. Be inspired by some words from Zelensky: "I do not want my picture in your offices. The president is not an idol, an icon, or a portrait. Hang your kids’ photos instead and look at them each time you are making a decision." You will be accountable as a steward and protector of our democracy, our national parks, our health, our rights, even our lives. Trump/Musk policies are going to cause death, misery, and chaos. Look at the photos of your kids and grandchildren and ask yourself: how will you explain Congress voting to slash Medicare and Medicaid in order to fund tax cuts for billionaires? How? What about gutting cancer research and food safety? What will your children think when they know you preferred to let children here and abroad go hungry so techbro super rich could have lower taxes? Vote NO on the budget that puts oligarchs and corporations before our lives and health. Do not cut Social Security and Medicare, Medicaide, or Snap. Look at the pictures of your children and commit to leaving them a fairer, kinder world, not a dictatorship of cruelty. Please reply in writing to assure me you will support Ukraine, call out POTUS lies, and not snatch access to food and medical care from those who need it.
