I believe in a public Postal Service committed to providing quality service to everyone – individuals and business mailers alike - no matter who they are or where they live, at reasonable and uniform rates. Our United States Postal Service is an essential part of the fabric of the country, the low-cost anchor of the growing e-commerce industry, and a source of good, living wage, union jobs for our communities.
I call on you to oppose any action that would override the law and jeopardize the independence of the Postal Service and the wellbeing of dedicated postal workers. I urge you to stand up for all of us who depend on a robust, public Postal Service.
