Where are the Checks and Balances?

You are the US Constitution's 'checks and balances' - so, when the security of the nation is compromised, as when the Secretary of Defense shares war plans accidentally, which in the wrong hands could be wildly dangerous for the country, how do you justify staying totally silent about it? Where are your strong condemnations of these activities? Where is your criticism of the President when he breaks the law by ignoring court orders? When are you going to DO YOUR JOB, Senator? You swore an oath to the US Constitution - where is that oath? Explain to your fellow Texans how you remain silent about these things, Senator.
