Stop the coup. Please make criminal referrals, amicus briefs, or else resign

Today the shocking realignment of Trump towards our long-time foe Putin and against out long-time allies and NATO partners became evident in the UN vote-- where America did not vote to condemn Putin's invasion of Ukraine. We have long seen Trump's attraction to Putin. Still, this is shocking and tragic. Our allies are reeling. I am aghast and grief stricken. It's time for you and your colleagues to recognise the profound, treacherous betrayal. If Russia has tried to conquer the US and install a puppet they could not have done so more easily. Or more thoroughly. You need to speak out publicly to condemn Trump's fealty to Putin. Individually and collectively you must explain that America was not paying Ukraine, but buying supplies in America to send there. Just like USAID pays US farmers for food sent abroad. It's time for all senators, not just the courageous few, to stand against the coup that is dismantling our government, our services, our rights, our federal agencies, our national monuments. I ask you to arrange for criminal referrals to be filed for Musk and his posse of digital terrorists to DOJ/FBI; please also prepare and file amicus briefs in the court cases regarding the usurpation of Constitutional authority; also file suits of your own in relation to other illegalities that touch on your state or your committee powers and areas of expertise. DOGE has been a giant catastrophically damaging con. No big fraud or waste discovered and chaos and suffering created. Don't wait to let the courts sort it out for you: you took a solemn oath to the constitution. It's YOUR job to uphold and defend it. That Trump would end up in the embrace of Putin, doing his bidding and betraying our allies while destroying the rule of law and constitutional checks and balances is a tragedy and a crime. For you, the senate, to look on and collectively fail to stand up for the constitution, your constituents, the rule of law, our allies and partners is evil and cowardly. Please reply in writing to let me know about the criminal referrals and subpoenas and amicus briefs you are undertaking. Please take all other measures in your power to stop this coup. If you are unable to honor your oath to the constitution, consider speedy resignation the least dishonorable action.
