Have Musk testify to your committee: fulfill your constitutional duty or resign

Please ensure that those you represent are not defrauded of representation by Congress ceding its constitutional powers to Elon Musk. As a recent letter to the editor in a Maine paper wrote of Senator Collins: "As chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, she has the power to hold a hearing to determine if funds authorized by Congress are being spent as intended. She could require Elon Musk to come before the committee, testify under oath and explain what DOGE (the Department of Government Efficiency) has been accomplishing. Sen. Collins' mission, should she choose to accept it, is to shine a light on the truth, protect Congress' "power of the purse" and support the rule of law." Please could you reply to me in writing to tell: whether you intend to use your role in Congress and as chair of the appropriations committee to uphold the constitution. If you intend to honor your oath, please let me know when you will be calling Elon Musk before the committee and what other actions you will take as committee chair to expose the truth and hold Musk to account. I respectfully request that you resign from the committee chairmanship and from Congress if you are unwilling or unable to carry out your role, serve your constituents , and uphold and defend the constitution.
