Oppose EOs that gut medical research, pandemic prep & affordable meds

What are you going to do about future pandemic threats? "The price of eggs in the US is spiking, mostly due to #H5N1 bird flu. Solving the problem requires urgent, important communications from the CDC & FDA* and rapid development of research by the NIH** * Currently paused by Executive Order" How are we doing against H5N1 now? Why did the president strangle the NIH and the CDC and stop interagency communication? Please reply to explain to me how these anti science anti health and anti survival policies are helping any one? Please reply to let me know what measures and appropriations you will support to monitor and control pandemic and zoonotic disease. Please vote against RFK Jr. Please introduce legislation to restore the NIH. Your job is on the line. I am incensed that the president is endangering our lives, health, and national medical and scientific agencies. I am incensed that the GOP plans attacks on Obama care and Medicare. I am outraged that an EO has restored the power of drug companies to make insulin and other life sustaining essential drugs unaffordable. I call on my elected representatives to put the health and medical care and scientific research that we need before Big Pharma profits. I will be watching your voting record and public statements. Failing to oppose executive orders that gut medical research, drug affordability, pandemic preparedness and medical research is a stance unworthy of any elected official.
