Signalgate gets worse every day. The response of both the principals and the administration response has shown shocking mixture of perjury, deflection, and flippancy--raising even more alarming red flags about our national security and their lack of integrity and unfitness for office. What else has been done on signal? What countries now have open channels to cabinet members devices? Have you looked at international press coverage of Signal Debacle? Even apart from the military and intel damage, it has destroyed our last shreds of international credibility. Congress's response has been on sufficiently vehement and too slow. Every one complicit needs to face the full legal jeopardy for their actions and to be confronted with their perjury to Congress. If they do not resign, you must impeach them. Let me remind house members: "Any member of the House can, by invoking Rule IX, force a floor vote on anything relating to impeachment. Johnson can't stop it. At most he can intervene with a resolution of his own to do something else with it, but that then requires a floor vote also, which becomes effectively the same thing." I call on the senate to refuse all further hearings on nominees till this rogue batch has been removed and faced the consequences of their actions.
