Letter petition Please read HR 9495 carefully. It had a poison portion called HR6408. That section is about something already against the law - there is already a federal law against providing material support to terrorists. (18 USC 2339 a). But the new provision in HR6408 would give the secretary of the treasury unilateral powers to designate US non profits as terrorist supporting organisations with no investigation - allowing the secretary to curb free speech and other activities of any group - perhaps one critical or a trump regime. Don't let this pass. If you really are intent on serving your oath to the constitution say no. The measure is a way the executive branch could squash dissent. Please reply. The vote is today.
